• Il potenziale di quarigione e di riparazione dei te ssuti molli.
• L’acido ialuronico nelle ferite orali: dal coagulo alle prime fasi ai tessuti organizzati finali.

• Comprensione e gestione dei de ficit dei tessuti molli.
• Ouando i biomateriali sono necessari: pro e contro del loro utilizzo.

POMERIGGIO – CHIRURGIA RIGENERATIVA

Trattamento dei difetti infraossei e dei deficit di cresta con acido ialuronico:
• Analisi dei diversi difetti ossei esito di malattia parodontale e elle dentulismo.
• I biomateriali per la terapi a rigenerativa.
• Selezione del paziente e preparazione iniziale del difetto infraosseo.
• GBR e acido ialuronico.

Prof. Andrea Pilloni

Graduated in Medicine and specialized in Odontostomatology from the University of Rome, Tor Vergata. Postgraduate degree in Periodontology and Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1993, where from 1992 to 2000 he was a visiting researcher at the Bone Biology Department headed by Prof. G.W. Bernard. Full Professor of Periodontics in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, he is currently Chair of Periodontics at the Master’s Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Rome “Sapienza”, Clinical Periodontics at the Degree Course in Dental Hygiene and Director of the Level II Biennial Master’s Course in Periodontics at the same University. Since 2014, he has been Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontology, Ohio State University, College of Dentistry.Winner of the 1998 H. Goldman Award for Basic Research of the Italian Society of Periodontology. Fellow of the Italian Society of Periodontology and the American Academy of Periodontology. Member of the European Tissue Repair Society and the European Wound Management Association. Active member of the Wound Healing Society. Author of articles (peer-reviewed) and a text on guided tissue regeneration (GTR). Speaker in Italy and abroad. Conducts private practice in Rome, mainly in the field of Periodontology.
