Prof Paolo Vescovi

Degree in Dentistry in 1987 (University of Parma –Italy). Specialty Diploma in Oral Surgery at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the University of Torino – Italy in 1998 and post-graduate diploma on Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology at the Oral Medicine and Oral Oncology Section -University of Torino, Italy in 1999. European Master Degree on Oral Laser Applications (EMDOLA) at the Sophia Antipolis University of Nice– France in 2008.

Currently he is associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry and Person in Charge of oral pathology and laser-assisted oral surgery at the Department of ENT, Dental, Ophtalmological and Cervico-Facial Sciences and he is director of EMDOLA program of the University of Parma. He is Vice-President of the Italian Society of Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology (SIPMO) and he is member of the National Council of the Italian Society of Laser in Dentistry (SILO). He is the coordinator of Study Group of Osteonecrosis and Bisphosphonates (GDSO) of the University-Hospital of Parma from 2005. Is Country Rep. for Italy in the World Federation for Laser in Dentistry (WFLD) since 2008. He is author of about 200 scientific paper concerning oral surgery, oral medicine, oral oncology and oral laser applications.
