Dr Giles de Quincey

Giles de Quincey graduated from the Dental School of the Medical Faculty of the University in Nijmegen in 1987. After practicing general dentistry in Eindhoven he started his post-graduate training in Periodontology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1988. He successfully completed his post-graduate periodontal training including implant surgery in 1990. After completing his training in Los Angeles he returned to the Netherlands and started his referral practice limited to Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.

In 1994 Giles passed the Oral examination of the American Academy of Periodontology, becoming a Diplomate of the ABP. He is currently a member of the scientific committee of the Dutch Society of Periodontology (NVvP). Additionally, Giles is an active member of the Dutch Dutch Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Since 1992 Giles was a clinical associate professor/instructor at that time EFP-accredited Post-graduate Programme Periodontology at the University of Nijmegen, later this program was converted into Post-graduate Programme in Reconstructive Dentistry. After cessation of Post-graduate training in Nijmegen in 2017 he became Assistant Clinical Professor/Externer Oberarzt in the EFP-accredited Post-graduate Programme in Periodontology at the Dental School/Zahnmedizinische Klinik of the University of Bern in Switzerland.

Giles has lectured in both the Netherlands and abroad and has a preference for periodontal plastic reconstructive surgery and interdisciplinary cases/treatment. Giles is married and has three sons.
