Dr Frederic Kauffmann

Dr. Kauffmann received his dental degree from Würzburg University, Germany, and completed his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in Würzburg, Department of Periodontology.

From 2018 to 2020 he was ITI Scholar as well as Clinical lecturer at the Department of Periodontology (Chair: Dr. William Giannobile) at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States. Dr. Kauffmann is ITI Fellow and works in private practice in Düsseldorf, Germany.

His main research focuses on wound healing enhancement and its impact on soft and hard tissue healing. He frequently gives lectures, courses, and workshops nationally and internationally about the influence of minimal invasive surgical techniques combined with wound healing enhancers on bone and soft tissue healing in the field of implant as well as esthetic periodontal surgery.
